# ThinkSmart View HA boot animation and splash for LineageOS
|

|
|
Home Assistant boot animation and splash for the Lenovo ThinkSmart View (`Lenovo_StarView` / `starfire`) running LineageOS 15.1. Dumped from the original Kingston HA ROM and converted so it displays properly on Lineage and for any orientation.
|
|
|
|
`original/` has the untouched Kingston animations, which don't display correctly on Lineage (letterboxed).
|
|
|
|
You will need Magisk as well, as this uses a custom module to get around /system hardware write protections. Download the latest Magisk.apk, then:
|
|
adb sideload Magisk.apk (in recovery), reboot, adb install Magisk.apk, open Magisk app (reboot if missing) and finish install (I chose preserve AVB 2.0/dm-verity and Direct Install).
|
|
|
|
## Install
